Q. What influenced your decision to become a wedding photographer?
A. I can’t really put my finger on one specific thing that influenced my decision to become a wedding photographer. When I started doing photography professionally, my focus was on event photography and that led to some inquiries to shoot a few weddings. I quickly discovered how much fun they are and how much of a challenge they offer to a photographer. Weddings are probably one of the biggest events in a couple’s lives and I feel so privileged to be a part of their big event and be able to capture all the details of the day.
Q. What influenced your decision to become a wedding photographer?
A. Shortly after my own wedding, I decided to delve into the world of wedding photography. I looked at my own photos and decided they weren’t what I wanted and thought perhaps I could make more beautiful images that weren’t so traditional! I’d been shooting bands for so long, and I used to photograph models in the clothing that I used to design many years ago, so moving to wedding photography just made sense!
