Q. What influenced your decision to become a wedding planner?
A. I have always been extremely detail orientated and organized, and sometimes a little OCD. When I took my Office and Records Administration diploma at NAIT I was able to assist in planning our graduation. From my graduation I was in a job where I was able to assist with corporate events such as award ceremonies, golf tournaments, and charity events. This happened to be at the same time I was planning my own wedding. I realized I enjoyed corporate planning but at the same time I enjoyed weddings. At my sister in law’s wedding, Elizabeth (ENV Photography) was just starting out and photographing my SIL’s wedding. The wedding was very disorganized even though I attempted to offer assistance many times, Elizabeth noticed that I was very good at improvising and carrying out a wedding I knew nothing about, and suggested I be a planner. I then took my Event Management Certificate, WPIC Certification, and started my business!

A. Modern. Simple. Elegant. Unique.

Q. Describe your perfect client:
A. A happy and trusting client. Someone who values my services and admires my talent.

Q. What is your favourite part of the wedding day(s)?
A. Being the last one to see the bride before she walks down the aisle & fluffing the dress of course!

Q. Do you plan weddings outside of the Edmonton area, and if so, where are you able to travel?
A. I have. Within a four hour radius of Edmonton. I don’t do destination weddings – I don’t do that kind of travel well!

Q. What makes you different from other wedding planners?
A. I don’t take no for an answer there is always a way around things, in other words I get what I want. My determination, creativity, and my laid back personality makes me different from other wedding planners.

Q. If you were getting married (or if you were to do it all over again), who would you choose to photograph your wedding, and why?
A. I don’t like this question. So hard to choose I love so many photographers in Edmonton. I know all the photographers reading this are dying to know the answer, but I can’t answer it, it would depend on who was available on our wedding day!

Q. Do you offer other services in additional to wedding planning?
A. Absolutely, Life Events such as birthdays, anniversaries, engagement parties, Christmas parties; and of course corporate events!
