Q. What influenced your decision to become a wedding photographer?
A. I love to take pictures of people, and there is no better time or place to take pictures of people than on a wedding day. To be chosen as the one person to photograph such an important day is such a fulfilling thing for me as a photographer.

Q. Describe your wedding photography style:
A. My wedding photography style is a mixture of spontaneous journalism, intimate informal posing, fashion, and an occasional touch of fine art.

Q. Describe your perfect client:
A. My perfect clients are energetic, youthful, and uninhibited. They choose me not only for my image style, but also my personality. They want a photographer who is more like a wedding guest than a service provider.

Q. What is your favourite part of the wedding day(s)?
A. My favorite part of the wedding day is leaving guests and family behind after the ceremony for wedding party photos, then breaking away from the wedding party to spend time photographing the bride and groom alone.

Q. Where are your favourite places to shoot in Edmonton?
A. Although I prefer more urban photo locations, many of my best images have been shot at the Royal Alberta Museum, so that has become a favorite.

Q. Do you photograph weddings outside of the Edmonton area, and if so, where are you able to travel?
A. I am willing to photograph anywhere. I love working out of town.

Q. What makes you different from other wedding photographers?
A. I am different from many other photographers in that I put few restrictions on my service, such as time, locations, etc. I love to have as much adventure as possible with my clients. I also strive to produce images with great esthetic longevity rather than drawing heavily on trendy processing techniques.

Q. If you were getting married (or if you were to do it all over again), who would you choose to photograph your wedding, and why?
A. My ideal wedding photographer would be Australian Jerry Ghionis. I love his personality, his image style, and I have learned so much from him personally.

Q. Do you photograph anything else other than weddings?
A. In addition to wedding photography, I also do a little commercial work, portraits, and virtually anything with couples.
