Here’s an engagement session from Lauren Hannah Photography taken around the Jasper Ave, 95th street area in Edmonton.
From Radelle of Eternal Reflections Photography: ”They (Raelyn & Matt) met at a mutal friends house party years ago. She looked at him & thought that he was so sweet & deserved a great girl. Years later, their paths crossed again; but this time they were both single. Within weeks they were deeply in love, within a year they were engaged. They are inseparable. Their wedding is going to be one of joy with bursts of yellow everywhere. The wedding is Fall 2010. These images were taken near 104st & 103 ave.”
From Reanna of Blackbird Photography:” Dan & Anna are two genuinely wonderful and happy people, and so much fun to work with. I can’t wait to photograph their wedding this August. When I asked Anna what kind of engagement images she wanted, she said something urban–but none of the currently popular graffiti backdrops–and possibly in a laundromat. A Laundromat! Game on!
So we met up on Whyte Ave and went hunting for textures and colours, and I learned a bit more about the couple. The area of town and wonderful mix of pubs & restaurants had a lot of stories in their dating history, so it was such a perfect place for their shoot. As for the laundromat – what a cute place for a couple in love!”
Editor’s note: I love engagement sessions. I especially love them when they have two hot men in them! Wowzers! I have to say that I super jealous that Harvey from Love Bucket Photography (located in Edmonton, AB) got to shoot this session instead of me! Handy that he was travelling in New York, where the couple happen to live, and shot with the them on the banks of the Hudson. I will just have to be content to stare at the pictures and soak in the awesomeness!
